What is Forest Bathing?
Since the dawn of Man, humans have been ‘Forest Bathing.’ It is only now, that many of us are completely disconnected from our natural selves, that we need this guided concept.
The term Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) was introduced in Japan in the 80s as a way to describe a connection with nature that involved being in a natural state whilst in nature, as opposed to hiking or sightseeing, which are goal-oriented activities. The studies started in Japan on the physical, mental, and emotional effects of Forest Therapy are guiding the implementation of Forest Bathing into the rest of the developed world today.
